personally appeared before me the subscriber, A Justice of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid Ada J. Richardson who after being sworn according to law deposed and says that she is the Wife of W. W. Richardson deceases who was a Private in Capt Williamses Company in the third Regiment of North Carolina State Troops commanded by Colonel Gaston Mears in the service of the Confederate States in the present war with United States that the said W.W. Richardson entered the service at Stafford county and State of Virginia on or about the 10th of February 1862 and was Killed at Malvern hill about the 2nd day of July 1862 having a wife Ada J.
