My dearest Sister

I write to beg that you will write to me
at once & let me know what is going on I know my
dear husband is some where not very far from Williamsburg
but where I dont know for though I have gotten a letter
from him he did not say exactly where they were camped
I am miserable about him & letter from you telling me
exactly what is going on, would be real comfort to me.
I have been so anxious about you too. What is supposed in
Williamsburg to be the plan of the enemy. Do write immedi
ately & tell me everything you know or hear. I would
rather be in Williamsburg now than any where else
in the world - & if it were not for the children I would
go down at once. Wont you come to us as I proposed
in my other letter? I will write again in a few days
Love to all I cant write more now

God bless you all

Your Sister
