for he has been really sick
during the past two weeks, more 
unwell than any time since his re-
turn home.  Helen may go home 
very soon her Father wrote to 
day telling her to be in readiness 
to return with him when he came 
but did not say just when, but 
quite soon, I suppose. what will 
become of poor [underscored] little Bessie 
then.  Mrs Hough is still here, had 
a very pleasant visit [?], & 
a Mr. Dickinson has paid me 
two long [underscored] visits.  G. goes to  Balt. in 
about ten days days.  Mrs. H sends much 
love, she looks very well, now aint 
Bessie good to write two letter
