Dad had his appointment today,
and made out relatively well, al-
though there are further instances
of confusion and unpleasant
incidents ahead. It’s all full
of the unattractive but I still
hope it’ll turn out for the best.
Another letter from Bill says
he’s heading for Frankfurt, Germany:
but still expects to be home by
the early part of ’46. How I hope
so!! Bill still sounded coolish
but is happier about everything.
A letter from the KDs said AΠ
won the Progress Award on the
basis of our last year’s achieve-
ments. I’m thrilled and proud!
