A pleasant awakening came at 7:20 AM
when Ed Damm phoned me --- he’s just
returned from a really extensive tour of
the Pacific with the Marines. – Lord he’s
seen all the action from Guadalcanal
through Okinawa, and it’s mighty good
to know that he’s back home and dis-
charged, all in one piece.
The work day passed pleasantly
again!
