OCTOBER 19
The work day was enlivened by
a two-hour session down at R&S on
Maiden Lane. It was an interesting
change – and besides I got a free
taxi ride downtown along the river,
glancing at the Fleet on the way. It
was a pleasant sidetrack on the
Fleer’s issue.
After work I met Gloria and
went to the Music Hall to see
“Weekend at the Waldorf,” a really
darling movie. We had a bite to
eat in the RCA Coffee Shoppe and
then came home.
Mail from Ann Johnson, Mr. June-
man, Floyd (leaving for Tokyo)
and Armour, scheduled to arrive
at Cornell soon.
