The day at the office was
kind o’ frustrating, but I accomplish[ed?]
a great deal again, anyhoo. I
met Lou, Sheila and Scarlett
for lunch in a tea room on 5th Ave-
Excitement came when a man
next to us had an epileptic fit –
and so it goes.
I came home for dinner
and then went to Cam’s for a
HGC meeting, made hysterical
by tales of newly married
life as led by Myrtle and
Aud. Audrey had her
wedding pictures with her too
and they turned out beauti-
fully
I was touched when the KDs
sent me a telegram saying they’ve
snared 16 super pledges – so
glad – A sweet letter from
Cary too!
