OCTOBER 2

I plodded some more at the

office, and became weary.  This noon,

Gloria and I went through the

Press Photographer’s Exhibit in the

RCA Building and loved it –

Very interesting indeed!

     The hospital session wasn’t

too pleasant, with all nerves

wearing thin around the edges.

     I’m reading “The Black Rose,”

current best seller, and love it.

     The wave of strikes spreads

n’ spreads: - the lastest is the [proposed?]

telephone operator’s jamboree.  Labor is

really getting carried away. – I

wish a compromise agreement could

be effected rather than an outright

strike to tie up industry when the

reconversion period demand the

utilization of all factors available.
