We stayed close to home all day. It’s
turned beastly hot with the weatherman’s
final summer fling; and we swelter!
We went to the hospital this afternoon
and then this evening I went to
Dr. Duncan’s for an injection: - the
first of a series. I hope it does some
good at last.
Mac Arthur has landed in Tokio.
How wonderful that the Japanese
invasion has become an actuality
in a peaceful way – instead of
a bloody seige!
