Mother, Florence and I stayed
close to home -- eternally on the phone!
Louise is definitely going to marry
Bill Monday at 4:00. Mrs. Dietz
is letting the excitement pass her
by and has dumped all the prepar-
ations for the reception: - wedding
cake, photographer, music, etc in the
Hirsch’s collective lap. Mother is
doing a beautiful job on it all.
Louise is such a grand gal, that
we love helping her.
We finally escaped from the phone
to have a late Chinese lunch in
Jamaica – before Mother and I
went to the hospital. Dad sat up
for awhile today
Myrtle and Gloria came
over, presumably to play bridge –
but ended up with conversations
of all varieties.
A plan crashed into Empire State Bldg.
