This was actually a pleasant
day at the hospital. I spent most
of the afternoon with Bob Ward, an
ambulance attendant, in the chapel
there listening to him play the
organ. It was a different sort
of thing, but I certainly en-
joyed myself.
Dad had a string of company
too: - Esther, Charlie Riall, Bert
Connell, Bob Winnall – which
helped the day pass quickly.
