FEBRUARY 18
1945 This morning I fooled around,
reading more Socialism, and
cleaning the room. Then after
dinner, Janet and I (with
ten other gals) drove to Langle[y]
Field for the day -- to the
Hospital to talk and play
bridge and casino with – the
Air Corps fellows. We had a
really wonderful time – and I
loved it good. We drove back to
Billsburg (the long way home) in
time for a party which the
pledges gave us – pleasant fun.
