Sunday 15th

Wind SE Cloudy & rained after 12 oclk till night
We staid at home. Martha Page & Hally Curtis here

Monday 16

Wind E alternately clear & cloudy. Hauled logs in [Carry log?]
Made fence. Got some Salt & calico &c of Mr Croswell who
started for Richmond with his goods.

Tuesday 17

Wind NE Rained incessantly the whole day.
Hands did nothing except shell a little Corn to carry to Mill.

Wednesday 18

Wind NE Rained all last night & all day to.day
Hands did nothing but get one load of wood.

Thursday 19

Wind NNW & W cloudy & rained the early part of the day
The ground is covered with water & the land so [mirery?] cant cart or do any
thing on the Farm. Cut some wood.

Friday 20

Wind W Clear earth very wet. Cut wood. Raked Sea Ore.
Maria went to Wilsons Creek. Mr Clark & Mr Selden here in m.g.

Saturday 21

Wind NW mg E Evg clear. Getting wood. Raking & hauling
Sea Ore. I went to the Court house. No news of much importance.

Sunday 22

Wind NE An awful Snow Storm. We staid at home.


Monday 23

Wind NW cloudy mg. clear Evg very cold.
Men & boys cut wood. Women & Girls did nothing
A Yankee Steamer up the River till nearly night
they robbed a Duck Trap. I dont know what else they stole.
