Shucked in Barn Yard. Shucked some in Field in Ev.g
I went to White Marsh & got my Two Carts & 10 [Bushels?]
Sweet Potatoes at 50c per bushel.
Friday 28
Wind NW Clear. Shucking & putting away Corn from field
Maria & the children went to Wilsons Creek & sent from
there for Richard, & returned home in Ev.g.
Saturday 29
Wind SW Cloudy & rained a little Shucking & putting away
Corn. Got wood I went to the Court house.
The Yankees are at Falmouth & have [surrend?]
Fredericksburg to surrender in 18 hours or be shelled
They refused to surrender.
Sunday 30
Wind SW Rained nearly all day. We staid at home.
