Thursday 10th
wind NE. Rained misty rain all day.
Hands could do nothing but get a little wood &
shell corn to sent to Mill. JS Hibble here
I sent to Gloster Point for Warner but he
did not come. He got there from Richmond last Ev.g
Mr O,Callahan one of the soldiers here had a chill To,day.

Friday 11th
Wind NW Cloudy till Ev.g. Then Clear.
Cut down, Hauled off & shocked up Corn.
Warner returned in Ev.g. He has resigned his
commission as Colonel of 21st Regt Militia.

Saturday 12th
Wind NW Clear. Getting off Corn, preparatory
to sowing wheat (if the Yankees will let me)

Sunday 13
Wind NW clear & cool. We went to Church
Mr Houck went with me, he returned here
form York with Warner Friday Evening.

Monday 14
Wind SE Clear & beautiful weather. Getting
off Corn & shocking it.

Tuesday 15
wind S & SE Clear. Getting off Corn and
shocking it. the Superior Court is in session
I was not on the Jury & did not go.
