Sunday 15th Wind W Clear and very hot. I went to church and carried Mr Heslin & Mr Canny Little Bryan Page fell out a 2nd story window at Carys brook and of course is terribly hurt

The wonder is he [is][crossed out] not killed. His Father has gone to see him.

Monday 16 Wind E. cloudy [and rained all the morning][crossed out] Rained at 4 Oclk & all the Evening. Pulling and saving Fodder, a bad season for it. Our Baby & Charley both quite unwell.

Tuesday 17 Wind SE Cloudy in mg. Clear Mdn. Cloudy in Ev.g Cutting Tops. Opening and drying fodder. Hally & Mr Curtis’s children spent the day here. Martha James has a little Girl Baby.

Wednesday 18 Wind E. Clear in mg. Rained about 12 Oclk. clear Ev.g Saving the Fodder the best way I can.

Thursday 19 Wind W Cloudy in m.g. clear afterwards. Saving Fodder I went to the court House and dined at Wilson’s Creek.
