Friend David

I now seat myself to
drop you a few lines
in return for your
truly welcome letter.
I have not much time
to write now. I am not
very well but I think
I will be all right in
a few days.  I hope that
when you get this it
may find you all in
good health.  Was
glad to hear from
you & although I did
not need envelopes I
was very glad to know
that you had not forgot
me yet give my best
respects to all friends.
