Don Masters, a former KTBC'er, is now a major in the United States Army In- formation Office in Viet Nam. But once a broadcas- ter always a broadcaster. He is now providing Radio 59 with some of the most factual and dramatic re- porting of that war we have ever heard. The taped re- ports are presented on Ra- dio 59's Evening Report. One of the broadcasts in- cludes an actual descrip- tion of a VC grenade lan- ding by Masters' feet. He escaped injury, but a couple of words had to be edited out of the tape.
