I set down to write a few lines to you to let you no [ta..? – crossed out] that i am well at present time and hoping that these few lines may find you all in the same state of good health and i let you no that i received your letter and was very glat to here y[crossed out] from you and i let you no that we have [?-crossed out] puty herd times for few weeks but i think we will git som beter times before long
