Father and mother nere Harris Burg dauphen Co I let you know that wee ar all well at present and I hope yous the same and I like it first [trait?] so far wee have plenty to eat and dring but wee ar kept [beaty?] close in camp I [? crossed out] only been in Harris bu[rg] twised sins I been here but wee can git every [?] wee waunt in camp thare is too stores in camp Post off[ice] and meeding every Sunday and I sing wee stay here on till wee have a richmand [fall?] wee sauth waunth wee hat to [leefe?] next week and I let you know turn over
