  Dear Sister
Having a few [?] minutes I concluded that I would answer your always welcom le'tter's. I have nothing of any interest to write. I have left Rose and am rooming with Mr Arnold Wright of [Goldsboro?] fomerly of Fayettevilll. he is a very nice young man as you would term him. I will carry him to Fayetteville at vacation when you can have a chance of seeing him. he has a very fine mustache and spike tail coat. I herd a splendid sermon this morning by [Lm Lraven?] and went down and got a very nice dinner. tell Ma that she will not have to hear Mr McDanie much longer as I expect to take his place. I believe that is what she sent me for. I must close. I hear the little sheep bells in all directions ringing for supper so you cannot blame for not writing as I am [hanging?]. write to me the day you get this. there there there is and sheep bell sending forth its delicious notes. Supper Supper Supper. Good bye.
