Camp Corrooll Sept the 22th 64

    Dear sister with 

plesure i take my pen in hant to let you know that i am well and hope that few lines may find you in the same helth. i wrote to you sum time ago and i hav resieved know anser. i dont know if you got it or not pleas and write soon and let me know if you are well and little Dany is and if he grose and tell [John ?] to write and let me know whot he is adoing and if he is well it is reported hear that [Daniel ?] was married. i dont know if he is or not but if he is i wish him all the luck and a happy life. i like it hear very well but when well was in the other camp i did not like it very let me know how Cathren Bower is tell her that i am well and send my respect to her. tell her to write and let me know whare she is. giv her the directions. we have about frty days to stay and then we will Come home if we dont inlist. they hav about the half of the Company inlisted i have not yet and i think that i will not. i am well and harty. nothing more at presant.
