This Indenture made this 1st day of April 1842 be- tween Geo B Rawlings of the first part Ro Rawlings of the second part and Joseph W Rawlings of the third part all of the county of Brunswick and state of Va whereas the sd Geo B Rawlings is justly in- debted to the sd Jos W Rawlings in the sum of ninety nine dollars and fifty five cents the sd Jos W Rawlings having paid that amount as the security of the sd Geo. B. Rawlings and whereas the sd Geo B Rawlings is willing and desirous to Accrue to the said Jos W Rawlings the payment of the said sum of ninety nine

with interest thereon from this date: Now therefore this Indenture [?] [?] for & in consideration of the promises & for the further consideration of the sum of one dollar to the sd Geo B Rawlings in [interest?] paid by the sd Ro Rawlings the [receited?] interest is hereby acknowledged bi the sd Geo B Rawlings hath given granted bargains and sold and by these presents doth give grant bargain sell & convey [?] [?] the said Ro Rawlings his heir, [?] etc the following propriety to wit: 2 Beds & furnitures, 2 Tables, 1 Press, 1 chair, 2 chest, and all the balances of his [?] & kitchen furniture of any description.
