I did not get my things sent by F. Hite as I in ten to for when we were campt below Windchester we was fixing to start a way and did not no wich way we was going up or down the road and Capt hite said he would follow us eny way we should go but in place of that we turned off to the Right and he did not follow us. but [strike-through] I want to sent a overcoat and some other things by him but I will send by some [strike-through] other some other tine. I was sorry to heare that Wil was publish as a deserter. You rote to me that he/you feard something of the sort and I got a breath o fit hear but all the tine that we did not here from him I had not the first dout about [strike-through] but that he was all right. I knew that he was engaged in some buis- ness some [strike-through] and I was glad that he was out of this kind of servis and let him to keep out of it as lomg as he can. I just received your letter of the 21 and you spoke of my mess. I have left that mess. I found out that the [strike-through] I had got in to the rong Shop. every one of them had lice and all cursed. I got out honrably and I got in to a nother mess of 5 they Andy Wilkison Blak Smith and my old Millitia Capt Capt Shumat and his Brother Who is at home now sick. Capt Sumats a Blacksmith and Capt Horon a Millitia Capt.
