Description Sally Galt requests that Mr. Edwards send to her a copy of a letter which appeared in his newspaper. The letter was written by Rev. Somerfield Lyndsay following a visit to Williamsburg and includes a tribute to Galt's brother, Dr. Galt.

            In one of the 

August or Sep. nos., of your truly excellent paper, there was published a letter, describ- ing a visit to Williamsburg, written by Rev. Somerfield Lyndsay Chaplain at the University of Virginia.

            Will you if you please

Sir, send me some copies of it. I would thank you (Page 1)

very much, to cut the letter above refered to, from the papers, & enclose them in the invelope sent.

             In post offices, newspapers

are much more apt to get lost, than letters.

             I think you ought

to allow me to take this opportunity, of thanking you for the pleasure & instruction, which the eminations from your (Page 2)
