I know that you will feel very proud of your work in filming the Christmas telecast, which grows in popularity each year. It's interesting that, for example, two stations have asked for the program (they had heard about it word-of-mouth) but were turned down because competitors had already scheduled it. At least three stations that we know of plan to air the program twice during the holidays. The station in Pittsburgh which refused to schedule the telecast sight unseen was so impressed Wednesday with the tape that it gave the College one of its best spots on Christmas Eve.

Dear Dr. Fehr:
I received a large nubmer of letters and many telephone calls form persons -- alumni and otherwise -- who expressed sincere pleasure in hearing and seeing the William and Mary Choir on the TV Christmas program.
I reported this favorable reaction to the members of the Board of Visitors at its meeting on January 6, and practically all of the Board members had also seen the program. The Board of Visitors adopted a Resolution commending all those who participated, and the fine leadership that you have given and are giving this particular activity that means so much to the College of William and Mary.
