May 5
This afternoon, I went sunbathing
in the backyard, and then rang
doorbells along Richmond Road
for the Marketing Survey: fascinating
– Cary, Jan and I saw
“Broadway Rhythm,” a mediocre
musical. – This evening,
we went to Mortarboard tapping
and then I visited Ann in
the dorm.
I got a real good letter
from Bill. I sure would
like to see him.
Mother called and
said Bill Brennan expects
to come down here during
his furlough.
