Wylers & Heyburns came after we had

Raining or almost look like mean
day for Picnic. Dad up to see house
with Wallace. Bud working on
[????]. trying to it to work good
I made potato salad, ice-tea,
cut cabbage & celery for slaw, [??Lenny?]
made dressing for it. got things
to-gether if we can go. Joe stopped
in & I told him to get paper at Church.
Came on rain, too wet to take Mama.
& Kenny disappointed as Bud was taking
him in [??/] if it had been clear.
