Nice day.  Dad & Bud working on

bid for Earl Thomas for [L or Sammy]

to type then went to Wm. Darlington's

[L or Sammy] & I to store, got groceries

I served a little then took S.S.

papers over to Mary Parry.  She was

[blue??] so glad to see me.  I talked

to her longer than I expected.

Tom would have me see his

garden so didn't get back till

near supper time.  Charlie has

plowed it all up for him & looks

nice.  Ethel having Ken & Maggie
