Your having expressed a strong desire of assistance in your enquiry into the Holy Scripture, I have on consideration thought that I could convey my Ideas on this Subject in a more familiar manner by putting my thoughts before you in a series of Letters; which will also have the advantage that in the course of the Correspondence should it occur to Me that I have omitted any material point, I can easily introduce it by way of explanation in the subsequent Epistles.
