She subsequently had <br />an encounter with US Iron Clad Steamer Erricson which she<br />damaged & drove under the guns of Fortress Monroe. The Virginia <br />is said to be uninjured. She must be a grand success <br />*This is not correct the rest is, The Minnessota was badly hurt but not taken</p>
