United States Senate Washington, D. C. April 7th, 1892

Hon. Lyon G. Tyler, L. L. D. President of William and Mary College: Williamsburg, Virginia. My Dear Sir; You may depend upon me to do every thing in my power for the passage of the bill securing indemnity to William and Mary Col- lege. I hope it will be brought up and passed at an early day. I think there will be no trouble with regard to the matter of the purchase of Temple Farm, although I am not advised of the prospect of that measure. I am faithfully yours, Geo F Howe
