OCTOBER 20
A sleepy Saturday morning gave
wasy to activity as I went down on
the avenue to do various errands.
We had lunch and then I went
into New York to meet Betty Driscoll
for an afternoon watching the
Ballet Theatre at the Metropolitan
Opera. They gave “Petrouchha,”
“On Stage” ( a new presentation) and
“Princess Aurora” – all very good!
A darling letter from Jimmy –
written two weeks ago – real
cute!
