We left home earlier than usual
and went into the Brooklyn Fox
to see Humphrey Bogart in “Conflict”
(a really gripping film) with a
better-than-average double feature,
“Crime Inc.” After all that, we
went to the Brass Rail for
seafood a’ la Newburg – a good meal.
Back at the hospital, we sat and
talked awhile until my cousin
Julian dropped by --- he didn’t realize
Dad isn’t supposed to have visitors.
I hadn’t seen him in years --
he’s aged considerably -- looks 10
years older than his 31 -- quite a
good guy though
A negress gave a concert in
the hospital this evening. – rather
good!
