Up at an ungodly hour to be
at the hospital by eight this
morning for a basal metabolism
and blood test, but it wasn’t
bad at all.
This afternoon Mother and I
went to the Bklyn Paramount to
see Joan Fontaine in “The Affairs
of Susan” and a tremendously corny
“Dangerous Passage” double feature.
While she went back to the hospital
I met Florence for supper at
Enduro’s before we both went
back to St. John’s. – saw Dad
and chatted with Bob and
Dr. Goodman, before coming home.
A sweet note from Sylvia, a
girl at the hospital -- and a
clipping about the Flat Hat
controversy from Freddie.
