FEBRUARY 11

1945  Up this morning to go to

St. Gabe’s for services – with

the rest of the day spent close

to home.  Later this afternoon,

Pat and Bill (now a corporal)

Breannan came over and then

we all went down to the St.

George for dinner and sitting

around to chat.  It was all

pleasant fun --- but I still

miss the other Bill.

The Big Three: – Stalin, Churchill

and Roosevelt are meeting in

the Black Sea area – for

peace plans and decisions on

what to do with Germany when

victory comes.
