JANUARY 11

1945    This has been a lovely day:- I

went to my two classes and then

buried myself in the Fine Arts

Library writing a termpaper on

Paul Cézanne. That was all kind

o' dull, but then this evening I

spoke at pledge meeting, giving

a Treasury pep talk (they seemed

impressed!); went to Backdrop

Club meeting with plans discussed

for the Varsity Show and went

to the piano concert given by

Robert Casadesus. He was

truly excellent and I loved it.

       I've glowed all day
