And so the days go by with

nothing much at all happening. I

lazied around this morning and

then did some Flat Hat work – was

tremendously pleased when Janet

and I worked on the KΔ Treasury

to find that all the confusion of

the summer balanced down to

the last cent. It was a wonderful

feeling.

I talked Elaine and Beth into

seeing “Hail the Conquering Hero”

this Evening and haven’t heard the

end of it since. I must have

enjoyed it more the first time on

account of the Mitchell Field

atmosphere.
