An inbetweenish day. It
looked gloomy and continued
on a rainy keel till evening.
I took time out from working
in a room off Mr. Crossley’s
office – to dash down to 34 St.
and meet Cary for a hasty
lunch in Schrafft’s.
This evening I worked till
seven and then had dinner
with Mother and Dad at
Rosoff’s.
