A nice enough day! We
sleepily shook our heads and
decided to go to church after
all – inspite of the drizzle. We
arrived late – and didn’t manage
to get any religion in our souls.
It was an attempt anyhoo.
After dinner I wrote a
whole pile of letters and
then the Council gave a
War Work gettogether. We
finished two scrapbooks of
cartoons to send war
veterans in hospitals. –
Sipped gingerale and chatted
with two rushees.
