Sunday, May 5, 1918

This has been a rainy Sunday.

So we didn't leave the  house.

I have enjoyed seeing Mary

have a good time. She is

such a happy, pretty child

when she feels good. John &

Marnie were up this eve.

Have read a greatt deal today.

Monday, May 6, 1918

Had Alberta Talbot here for dinner.

Took her to see "Lest We Forget"

at the Best. It was the best

war picture I've seen. Took Mary

out   [?] I came [over?.]  We went

over to Tanta's to see some

little kittens.

Rained as hard last night

that the water was half over

the park today.
