       clothing equipment distributed

       being kept busy.  Inactivity
       beginning to get my goat &

       In town Sat. P.M. with Maj.
       Carson.  Man spoke to me in
       Patten whom I had not the 
       slightest recollection of.  turned
       out to be Charlie Robert. whom
       I hadn't seen for 20 years.
       Certainly never would have
       known him . is a Capt. in 1" Co.

        Much disappointment mongst
        boys as all had impression we
        were to sail 18", but delays in
        receiving equipment seem to
        pile up. Each day a new lot
        of [...] abroad as to sailing
        date but Q.M. says wait for
        10 days yet.  Ordinances
