Friday 16th
Wind NE Cloudy and rained nearly all day
Got some wood. Hauled out & scttered Sea Ore
Harrowed fallowed land. Three of the
Soldiers sick To,day, I think they made
Themselves sick by eating imprudently. Mr Curtis &
Sister Harriet spent the day here. Jane’s little
daughter Maria very sick with worm fever.

Saturday 17
Wind S.E. Clear. Ditching. Hauling out
Sea Ore. Grubbing bushes.
Maria went to a Meeting of the Ladies at
Abingdon Church. The Sick Soldiers getting on well

Sunday 18
Wind SE. Cloudy. It rained hard last night
and a heavy rain about One O,clk To,day.
We staid at home. Three of the Soldiers
quite sick all day. Richard came from
Belle Farm where he has been for a week.
Dr Cary here to see Jane’s little girl, she is quite sick

Monday 19
Wind SE Clear. Hauling out & scattering Manure
The Men ditching. Dr Page here in m.g.
The sick soldiers getting on very well
