Maria went to Belle Farm. A messanger came for
her. Farley Taylor is very ill. Our carriage returned
at night bring her two little girls & her infant about
a fortnight old fro Mary to nurse & to prevent its
disturbing its Mother. It seems well & does not appear to
have suffered from the ride.

Sunday 9
Wind SE Cloudy. I sent the Carriage to Wilson’s Creek
for Sister Ann to attend to ^ see after Farleys Baby.
It seems perfectly healthy & quiet. I got a note
from Maria, Farley is better. Sister Ann came.

Monday 10
Wind NE. Cloudy. Hauled out & scattered Hog Pen
Manure. Mauled Rails. Got some wood.

Tuesday 11
Wind SE. Alternately Cloudy & Clear. Hauled Rails
with Carts & wagon. Mauled Rails. Maria got
home from Belle Farm To,day Farley is still very low
but she hopes & thinks better than she has been.
The Girl Polly I hired to Mrs Moore ran off bringing
her child with her here.
