Wind S Clear. Finished breaking up Corn land
except about 3 acres rough land near upper Flood Gate
Hauling out & Scattering Farm Pen manure.
My young Mare had a Sorrel Mare Colt, by Prince Albert

Wednesday 27
Wind W. blew very hard Ploughing the rough land with
Two Ploughs. Hauling out Farm Pen Manure. Throwing
back ditch Bank. Mrs Scolly Miss F Nelson P Page &
his wife here in m.g.

Thursday 28
Wind E & very disagreable. Finished Ploughing rough land
Hauling out Farm Pen Manure with Two Ox Carts.
Throwing back ditch scourings. Making fence.

Friday 29
Wind SE Clear. Harrowing Corn Land. Making fence. Hauling out Manure.

Saturday 30
Wind SE & NE Cloudy. Hauling Manure & scattering it. Making fence
opening drains. I dined at P Page’s with his Uncle Mr Hugh Nelson
