Sunday Feb. 24,, 1918

This has been a summer day. Too

hot for even a wrap. Harry, Mary & I

were out all afternoon. Sat on the

porch when we came home. The

warm day has made Mary feel

good. She jumped and danced

in her swing. John & Marnie

dropped in a few minutes this eve.

It was too blustery to venture out

today. Harry went to K. C. to be

gone two days. I crocheted some,

knitted some, made a dozen button-

holes or so, besides keeping Mary

amused. Mother made Mary two

dear little blue crepe dresses

today. Mother surely is good to

me. I don't know what I would

do without her.
