My Beloved Wife
I was occupied
all day yesterday in attendance [on?]
the wounded, consequently, was unable
to visit you. I will however, use my
best endeavor to see you to-day and I
hope in a few days that I will be
able to take up my abode with you.
Please if Kitty has sent any clothes home
to send me a pr socks, drawers, shirt, collar
& flannel shirt.
I must go to work, [be?] good [ ? ], and [ ? ]
