This marked the official start of
my ringing doorbells routine, as I
began to look for a job. The out look
isn’t as rosey now as it was even
a month ago, due to the closing down
of the war plants and the temporary
unemployment crises, but I’m not
discouraged – yet. – I had a long
talk with Mr. Rauschelbach of
American Cyanamid and he gave me
several good suggestions before
I went to two agencies and a
market research organization. Every-
one was real sweet and en-
couraging to me, but I’m still un-
employed!
I met Glory for lunch to soothe
my wearied nerves – and afterwards
went on over to the hospital.
