Some think it will last the whole of Lincoln's administration but I cannot be lieve it - if I did I would go mad I cannot live without you my precious the longer we are separated the dearer you are to me I thank God that he has given me such a treasure we did not know before this war how many bles sings He had bestowed on us Let us pray most ear nestly for peace and for your speedy and safe return to our sweet home and to your wife & little ones who love you so dearly and who so anxiously [wait?] for your return much love to Sam and bless you my darling Your loving and devoted Nannie</html> |
