Bushels Wheat.  Deals boat and the negroes are said to be taken

spent the day at Sister Anns.  I dined there.

Wind SE ^ Rained and blew a Hurricane all day.  West

in Ev.g & cleared off.  Hands got a little wood & put up the

fences which were blown down.  If Mr Lincolns [“Armada”][underlined]

which left Old Point a few days since

^ encountered the “Gale” off the Southern Coast it must have
 +
[wrecked][crossed out] scattered it & wrecked many of the inferior vessels.

Sent to Stubbs’s mill with 5 Bus Wheat, he did not get Flour

He brought 5 Bundles Cot Yarn from Capahosic.

Sunday 27th Wind W Cloudy in M.g Clear in Ev.g It rained nearly all last night. Maria & Charley went to church, Myself & the others staid at home.

Monday 28 Wind NW Clear & cool. Sowed Eight Bushels of Wheat Sister Harriet, Hally & Fanny here. Shucked & put away Corn

Tuesday 29 Wind NW & W Clear. Sowed Eleven bushels Wheat Shucked & put away Corn. Opened drains Warner went to York To,day to join Genl Rains [where goes][crossed out] as a member of his staff. Deal’s Canoe was taken off last night by some Negroes who went to the Yankees. Three went from Mr Clarkes. I have not heard what other went.

Wind SE ^ Rained and blew a Hurricane all day. West in Ev.g & cleared off. Hands got a little wood & put up the fences which were blown down.
